Volunteers are the backbone of grassroots football. Without the time, dedication and commitment volunteers demonstrate each and every week clubs and leagues would simply not exist. A football club or league is about more than just the players on the pitch.
Clubs in the Western League require a varied number of volunteers to fulfil important roles to help them operate and develop. From turnstile operators, PA announcers and serving refreshments to pitch maintenance and general tidying up of the ground.
